Ava Briggs
My name is Ava Briggs, and I am the Editor-in-Chief of POLISHED. I am a junior studying Marketing at Lasell University, and I hope to pursue a creative marketing role in a major city like New York, where I can meet new people and gain experience. I’ve been obsessed with Diesel and Mugler for the past few years, and Mugler’s Spring/Summer 2021 campaign sparked my interest in creative direction. I’m honored to take on the role of Editor-in-Chief this year and excited to express my creativity while connecting with people who share my interests!

Olivia Sousa
My name is Olivia Sousa, and I am a senior studying Fashion Media & Marketing at Lasell University. I aim to design advertising campaigns and runway shows for luxury fashion brands, blending cutting-edge technology with timeless elegance to create immersive experiences. My favorite designers are Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood, particularly McQueen’s breathtaking Oyster Dress and Westwood’s iconic corsets and tartan patterns. I admire McQueen for his avant-garde vision and Westwood for her fearless ability to push boundaries in women’s fashion. This year, I’m excited to work with our new E-Board at POLISHED Magazine and bring our new and creative ideas to life!

My name is Evan Terry, and I am the Editorial Director for POLISHED. I am a Senior Journalism major at Lasell University, and my goal for the future is to continue pursuing writing and editing for a news organization. I like to spend my time away from school snowboarding. I am so excited to help deliver another amazing issue this year!
Fashion DirectorElijiah Antione
My name is Elijah, and I am the Fashion Director for POLISHED, and I am a senior studying Fashion Design & Production. In 10 years, I see myself as a fashion designer in NYC, working in the industry for one of my favorite brands while continuing to style on the side. My favorite designer is Rick Owens, and much of my creative inspiration comes from the subcultures I’m a part of, which have shaped my aesthetic preferences and interests. I’m most excited to work with our new group of stylists and come up with outfits together as a team!
Freddie Matthis
My name is Freddie Matthis, and I am the Art Editor for POLISHED. I am studying Communications with a minor in Fashion Media & Marketing at Lasell. In ten years, I see myself as the Art Director for an advertising agency, ideally managing the visuals for a variety of different campaigns. In my spare time, I’m usually on my laptop, either working on Canva or playing Roblox. I’m most excited for the trend shoot this semester! I think it’s a super fun concept with a lot of great directions we can take it in.

My name is Lila, and I am the Marketing Director for POLISHED. I am a senior studying Fashion Merchandising, and I hope to become a buyer for a major brand in the future. Outside of school, I love going to new coffee shops and trying their specialty lattes! I’m especially excited for the Social Media Team’s Fall Trend Shoot and can’t wait to see all of the creative ideas our team brings to life this year!

My name is Ali Cohen, and I am the Social Media Manager for POLISHED. I am a Senior studying Fashion Media and Marketing at Lasell University. In the future, I would love to be on the media or marketing team for a designer brand. Outside of school, I love doing crafts and spending time in nature. I’m excited to work with an amazing team to create amazing things!

Hi! I’m Kallie, and I am a junior studying Fashion Media and Marketing. Ever since I was little, I’ve been interested in every aspect of the fashion industry, from design and modeling to flipping through every fashion magazine I could get my hands on. That interest made coming to fashion school a no-brainer and is why I hope to become a creative director for a brand or eventually have my own business in the industry. Some of my favorite brands that inspire me are Chloé, Ann Demeulemeester, Isabel Marant, and designer Alessandro Michele. I’m so excited to have a POLISHED website again this year and can’t wait to see it evolve with such an amazing team!
Events ManagerStephanie Coughlin
Hi! I’m Steph, and I’m the Events Manager for POLISHED, and I’m also a Junior studying Fashion Media & Marketing. My favorite fashion era is the early 2000s, with icons like Paris Hilton and Christina Aguilera. My favorite trends from the time include low-rise everything, feathers, and velvet. There are so many iconic moments from the time, and without the fashion, I don’t think the 2000s would be as iconic! In the future, I hope to work on the marketing team at a luxury jewelry store. Outside of school, I love a good craft, especially paint-by-numbers. I’m most excited to see how the year goes as we’re pushing for success in new things!

My name is Lily Arsenault, and I am the Publicity Coordinator for POLISHED. I am a junior studying Public Relations, with a career goal of working in publicity for a book publishing company. Outside of school, I love reading, cooking, and crafting, especially when I can get creative and try something new. I’m so excited to be part of POLISHED and to see what we can create when our team brings all of our different ideas and creativity together. I’m looking forward to another fun and exciting year with the POLISHED team!
